They were regional champs four times and won the state title in her sophomore year. Tracee earned All-Ohio honors in her final three years at Ellet. Upon graduation in 1999, Tracee received a scholarship to the University of Akron and proceeded to make an immediate impact, being named the team's MVP offensive player in her freshman year. She also was named to the second unit of the Mid-American Conference tournament squad in her first collegiate year and was honored with first team laurels for the Great Lakes region. An injury slowed her down in her sophomore season, but she blossomed in her junior year, being named to the MAC first team, along with second unit honors for the Great Lakes region. Tracee's final year of collegiate competition proved to be the best. Named First Team All-MAC and Great Lakes region, she was her team's top offensive player, ranking in the top ten in eight UA hitting categories. The pros awaited her, and she joined the Akron Racers in 2004, playing three years before moving to the coaching ranks. She had two-year stints at Marshall University and her alma mater, Akron. Then she went to Twinsburg High School in 2007 and earned conference Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2008. The Lookouts Fastpitch program officially begins a new era today as we officially announce Kevin Pratt Head Coach of our ’05 Premier Team and Organization’s Director of College Recruiting

For the last 3 years Kevin was the coach of an Elite Team that was very successful and won many tournaments, helped all his players earn the opportunity to play in college, and had a great time along the way.  Kevin was brought in to help get another Youth Program on the map by being very competitive, and he and his coaches accomplished that.  Kevin and his coaches helped place all of his players in college and over the years have helped place dozens of boys and girls into college.

Originally Kevin coached in high level baseball travel organizations and high school baseball at Stow but switched to girls and will stay in softball.   While at Stow HS, Kevin took over duties as the hitting instructor, which helped Stow make it to a Regional Finals, which hadn’t happened in over 20 years.

“Helping my son and daughter get recruited showed me what boy’s organizations do that most girl’s programs do not and I am going to help the Lookouts Softball Organization get to the next level.” says Pratt.   “Girls deserve more and we will be working hard to close the opportunity gap and help more girls and their families through the recruitment process”, continued Pratt.

The Lookouts Softball organization has extensive winter training at the Kent State Fieldhouse over the winter, plus our own team workouts, we will have recruiting seminars, and now a dedicated college recruiting director.  “Kevin is going to take us to the next level, and we are looking forward to the coming years. He will leverage his relationships with college coaches throughout our region to help our players and their families through the entire recruiting process” stated Jason Queen, Program Head.

‘I joined the Lady Lookouts because we are fully committed to doing all we can for players and families by way of winter training, college recruiting seminars and advanced placement activities that girls deserve and need”. - Kevin Pratt

“We are excited to have Kevin leading a Premier team as well as being our College Recruiting Director because Kevin has an excellent record of developing young players and helping dozens of players get recruited.  Kevin is a very professional and energetic leader and helping girls play in college is his life’s passion” says Queen.

Kevin’s previous 20 years of coaching experience includes high school and travel baseball and softball.  Kevin’s experience coaching at the highest levels makes him an obvious choice to lead our Premier team and our college recruiting efforts.  Kevin owns a professional recruiting firm so his skills in recruiting, marketing and communications will be put to great use in helping not only his team, but all our players and their families reach their dreams of playing college softball.

Our Lady Lookouts ‘05 Premier Showcase team has an assistant coach who specializes in hitting/slapping and infield defense and the second assistant coach is a pitching coach who is a current player at Walsh University.  In addition to excellent coaching, this team will train extensively at Kent State University during the winter, play a high-level competitive schedule during the fall, winter, and summer, and receive strong organizational support throughout the recruiting process.
